The Off Center
Attendance is free. No reservation is required.
Arrive early, as seats fill quickly!
Participants in Grrl Action’s 2007-2008 year-round class present their long-term artistic projects in the form of a unique and engaging performance! A reception and project fair will follow.
For the past seven months, girls have been developing projects inspired by their interests and passions alongside professional female artists. They've taken their work in the summer workshop to the next level by creating multi-media solo performances, dance pieces, books of poetry, magazines, performance art, and documentary and narrative films. In GRRL WRAP, they'll share these projects in an innovative performance. Please stick around for food and a closer glimpse into these projects after the performance is over!
4. SPONSOR THE EVIL EYE BALL (AUGUST 23RD) OR DONATE TO THE SILENT AUCTION!!!
Local businesses, we invite you to participate as a Cash or In-Kind Sponsor for the event or as a Silent or Live Auction Donor. We are currently accepting donations. If you would like to contribute to the Silent or Live Auction, or to become a Cash or In-Kind Sponsor, please click here.
Volunteers, we invite you to participate as well. We usually need around 30 volunteers to help with everything from procuring silent auction items to decorating The Off Center to working the actual event. Volunteers get to attend the party for free, and this year won't be any different. If you'd like to volunteer, please email volunteer@rudemechs.com.
5. GIVE IT UP FOR OUR 2007/2008 SEASON SPONSORS!
