Come experience a workshop production and watch its development with support from the Creative Capital Foundation: “The Method Gun” will be a world premiere production exploring the life and tragic death of Stella Burden – reclusive actress, and architect of the eponymous acting exercise which eventually took her life. Using Rude Mechs’ signature techniques for creating new work for the stage, we will investigate the rich heritage of acting methodologies that our generation has inherited from Stanislavski to Stella Adler. Actors will show you how they do what they do as they do what they do until one of them is done in by “The Method Gun.”
